They choose minimal or sustainable packaging when possible and buy locally where available. 7.SOURCING SUSTAINABLE SEAFOOD Anne Bonny Crew are learning which local and store-brought sea foods are sustainable, allowing them to choose the best options as often as possible. 8.ANCHORAGE ETIQUETTE Anne Bonny Crew choose to moor on buoys rather than anchor where possible. They also will minimize the use of underwater lights, and dispose of food/tank waste away from the anchorage. They are mindful of turtles and wildlife that can be harmed by propellers and fast dinghies. 9.DISPLAYING ECO INFORMATION ON BOARD 10.CONNECTING GUESTS TO LOCAL INITIATIVES If guests are interested in doing more they can speak to the Anne Bonny Crew about carbon offsets or contributing to favorite local environmental initiative.
